*COVER REVEAL* "Forever Ours" by Cassia Leo

Forever Ours is the highly anticipated prequel to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Shattered Hearts Series. This can be read as a stand alone or before Relentless.

Sometimes, it takes more than love to mend a shattered heart.

After eight years of being tossed around from one home to another, never forming any meaningful friendships or bonds with her foster families, Claire's caseworker gives her an ultimatum: Behave or your next home will be a halfway house.

When fifteen-year-old Claire arrives at the home of Jackie Knight and meets Jackie's fifteen-year-old son, tattooed guitarist Chris, she fears she'll be seeing the inside of that halfway house soon. But Chris isn't like any other guy Claire has ever encountered and he soon gains her trust through his music and unwavering patience.

Claire has finally found her forever home and she and Chris soon find themselves falling in love.

But Chris’s dreams of musical stardom and Claire’s need for a stable home soon put their love in jeopardy. Chris struggles deeply with his plans for the future, entirely reluctant to leave Claire behind; until Claire does something that may break their love — and the only home she’s comes to know — forever.

Bring Me Home by Cassia Leo Review

DO NOT READ THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE READ RELENTLESS AND PIECES OF YOU!!!!

**This review contains spoilers from Relentless and Pieces of You.**

From Goodreads:

"The breath-taking conclusion to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling series.

"Sometimes letting someone go is the ultimate act of love."

Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak. She was saved once by her first love, and rock star, Chris Knight. But when she encouraged Chris to leave town to pursue his dreams, both Claire and Chris didn’t realize it would be the biggest mistake of their lives.

After a devastating year apart and thousands of miles of distance between them, Claire met sexy surfer Adam Parker. With his awful jokes and profound patience, he helped Claire pick up the shattered pieces of her broken heart for the second time.

But now Chris has returned and he is willing and determined to make Claire’s dreams come true—the same way she did for him when she let him go.

With Adam’s former girlfriend in the picture, Claire finds herself torn between the new, passionate love she shares with Adam and the love and family she shares with Chris."

My Thoughts:

I can't believe it's over. But my god, what a beautiful way to end this series.

Bring Me Home starts very soon after Pieces Of You left off. Claire has still not made the decision of Chris vs. Adam. She has been seeing her therapist regularly, and trying to get herself into a better frame of mind.

"..she's the most beautifully broken girl I've ever met."

Similar to Pieces Of You, we get to see chapters from Claire, Chris, and Adam. However, we get the added bonus of a few chapters from other characters as well.

Everyone seems to be struggling in some way shape or form. Claire has a BIG decision to make, Adam has Lindsey to deal with, Chris is still waiting.. Everyones lives and feelings are a bit up in the air.

"It's not our mistakes that define us. It's the lessons we learn that show true character."

Claire realizes she has had a decision made in her mind for a while, and finally faces the facts of what she needs to do. Someone will get hurt, but it's at this point that the healing for everyone involved will start. Closure. Closure starts with Claire's decision.

"'What are you going to do when I'm gone?'
'Wherever you go, I go.'"

As we have learned, nothing is ever easy for every one of these characters. Relationships are tested, new relationships begin, old relationships come to light. Some feel betrayed, some feel loved, it's a never ending cycle of emotions... and it was perfect.

"Life would be so much easier if we could just paint broad strokes of color over the ugly parts to make them beautiful."

That's it. I'm stopping here.
I simply can't give any more information. I refuse to spoil this book, and once Claire's decision is made, there is no way to talk about any more without giving away her choice.

I'm trying very hard with this review to not give ANYTHING away. So even though this is one of my shorter reviews, it does not take away any feeling that I had for Bring Me Home, along with this entire series.

Cassia Leo has this amazing ability to make you feel. I mean REALLY feel. Feel like you are going through what the characters are going through. Feel like you just had your heart torn apart and put back together. Feel like you are overwhelmed with those feelings, and feel kind of crazy that you're loving every last second of it.

Now, I am generally a really fast reader, and there are times, like this, that I hate that I'm a fast reader. I did not want this book to end. It took me a course of 3 days, and putting it down to beta read a book inbetween, to finally park my butt in bed and make myself finish it. I talked about closure that these characters all got in some way in Bring Me Home. But really, I feel like the readers got closure for this series.

It was the perfect ending, to an amazing set of books.

Favorite Quote(s):

"To love is to destroy pain. I love your heart."

"In the depths of winter, I discovered in me an invincible summer. That's you. Thank you for being my invincible summer."

Pieces of You by Cassia Leo Semi-Review plus Blurb and Links

From Goodreads:

"Book Two in the NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling series.

"Sometimes letting someone go is the ultimate act of love."

In Relentless, college student Claire Nixon and surfer Adam Parker each had a painful past too heavy to carry alone. Claire tried to push Adam away, but Adam's relentless pursuit of her heart and her secrets made her walls come crumbling down.

But now Claire's attending college a hundred miles away from Adam. With their new relationship already hanging by a thread, Adam is sent to Hawaii on business.

And Claire's first love, rock star Chris Knight, is back in her life.

Chris wants his ex-girlfriend back. Both he and Claire know that only Chris has the power to mend the final missing piece of Claire's shattered heart. But Claire's strength is tested as she is forced to confront the demons she's been running from for more than a year.

Now Claire must choose between a long-distance relationship with Adam and a second chance at true love, family, and home with Chris."

My Thoughts:

Again, this one falls into the "read before the blog" category. However, Bring Me Home, aka Book 3 of this series, is out in just TWO days, so I wanted to give a quick star rating for the first two books, Relentless and Pieces of You

Pieces of You was AMAZING. And it left me DYING for Bring Me Home! It was non stop story, and I had an extremely hard time putting it down! Love love loved it!

Relentless by Cassia Leo Semi-Review Plus Blurb & Links

From Goodreads:

"Book One in the NEW YORK TIMES and USA TODAY bestselling series.

"Sometimes letting someone go is the ultimate act of love."

Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak.

At seven years old, the death of her mother by drug overdose destroys her faith in humanity and herself as she is tossed from one foster home to another. Feeling unwanted and disposable, she fights to keep herself safe in the system. Until, at the age of fifteen, she is saved by her first love, and soon-to-be rock star, Chris Knight and his mother, who quickly becomes the mother she always wanted.

When Claire encourages Chris to leave town to pursue his dreams of musical stardom, both Claire and Chris don't realize this will be the biggest mistake of their lives.

One year after Chris leaves on tour, Claire has carved out a new life for herself in a new city far away from the life she left behind with Chris. On a fateful morning, she meets sexy surfer Adam Parker.

To Claire, Adam is just another flirty customer at the cafe, until a chance encounter and seemingly innocent comment spurs a bet between them. The bet is simple: If Adam can get Claire to reveal the secret that made her drop out of college and leave her life behind, she has to re-enroll. If he doesn't succeed, she gets to keep her secret and he has to stop stalking her at the cafe.

Claire thinks she has this one in the bag. She's perfected the art of forgetting her past. But she isn't prepared for Adam's relentless pursuit or for him to share his own secrets. And she's definitely not prepared for the love of her life, Chris Knight, and her secret, to come banging down her door one year later."

My Thoughts:

Okay, this one falls into the "read before the blog" category. However, Bring Me Home, aka Book 3 of this series, is out in just TWO days, so I wanted to give a quick star rating for the first two books, Relentless and Pieces of You

Relentless was an absolutely fantastic read, and I recommend it to everyone! I adore Cassia Leo's writing style, and the story has you sucked in from page one. READ. THIS. BOOK!!
