No two persons..
You may have noticed the quote on the top of my blog. I actually came across it on Pinterest, and thought that truer words were never spoken.
It is part of the reason I wanted to start a book blog. EVERY person who reads a book has a different view, a different opinion, a different story in their head. From picturing the way a character looks, to thoughts on their personality, to what mini-movie scene you are making it in your head, every person will see it differently. Certain parts will stick out to one person more than another. Some people will fall in love with the main character, and others will fall in love with a background character that only randomly appears. Others will be able to relate to a book, while someone else is wishing they could.
Books open up an entirely new world, and while you're reading it, you become part of that world..
..even if its just for a few days..
..and sometimes even longer..

My Thoughts:
"Mitch Johnson died last night. He killed himself. I wasn't sad or heartbroken when I heard. I was pissed."
With a first chapter that starts out like that, how could you not want to know more? This is my first time reading Tiffany King, and I'm glad I found her. Miss Me Not is an emotional roller coaster that I am extremely glad I took. It is so much more than your usual "teen self-discovery" book.
From the first line, this book got me. We immediately are thrown into Madison Hanson's world and thoughts.
"Mitch stole my thunder. It should have been me."
Madison has a hellish past. A past that has haunted her since she was 13 years old. A past that no young girl should ever have to go through. Her emotionally non existent mother, or should I say Donna, and her father, who hasn't been in her life since she was 13, do absolutely nothing to help her overcome any of her demons. They go so far as to blame her for it, and completely shut her out. Her church-obsessed mother is just.. horrible. She is an evil evil woman. Madison blames her broken family on herself, and her past. She thinks she is undeserving of anything more.
The only person she has is her friend James, who has a set of demons of his own. Together they form a bond between two broken people, and decide their fates together through an unspoken "pact".
Then cue Dean Jackson. "King of the Populars", and all around good (read: amazing) guy. When Madison is forced into being tutored by Dean, he slowly takes her entire world and flips it upside-down, for the better. Dean is her own personal god-send. He shows her a side of the world she didn't think existed. He eventually becomes her safe-haven, her hope. We watch a depressed, emotionally numb Madison slowly open up, as her walls begin to crumble. Dean is just.. wow.. There should be more people in the world like him, as well as his family.
Miss Me Not takes the subject of suicide and abuse, and turns it into a beautiful story of hope. With such difficult subjects to write about, every word and emotion is written with amazing thought. I absolutely adored Miss Me Not, and encourage everyone, especially anyone who thinks suicide is the answer, or knows someone who might, to read this book.
There is always hope.

If you haven't read Fallen Too Far, and Never Too Far, stop right there, and do NOT read this review. Instead, go buy Fallen Too Far and then Never Too Far, immediately, run to get it, log into your Amazon.com account, just get your hands on this series. NOW! GO!
Forever Too Far is Book #3 in the "Too Far" Series by Abbi Glines. And, for the record, Fallen Too Far and Never Too Far also got a huge 5 stars from me.

My Thoughts:
I wasn't sure what I expected when I started reading Forever Too Far. It starts up just a little while after where we left off, which was perfect! I knew the book would most likely revolve around Rush (swoooooon) and Blaire getting back on track, their coming wedding, and of course their baby. What I wasn't expecting, was the mass amount of drama a certain little sister could cause. Nan, of course, is still the obnoxious little brat that she was in the first book, and will do whatever she can to continue to get Rush's attention. She actual consumes more of the book than I thought she would, but wow, it makes for a great little twist in all of it.
On to Rush and Blaire..
I'm pretty sure, that despite their rocky start in Fallen Too Far, and issues in Never Too Far, anyone in their right mind would want the love these two have. It is just the sweetest, most caring relationship I have read about in a very, VERY, long time. They have such a perfect, and at the same time, imperfect connection with each other. They are put into very real situations, where each of them has room to screw up in their own ways, and they do, they screw up, but it's real. It is a nice breath of fresh air to watch two people who are oddly down to earth, given both their histories, work together and come out on top.
Let me say, I adore Rush. I completely 1,000% love him. He has a huge heart, and despite how many times he can mess things up, there is never a second of doubt of his love for Blaire. They literally have a love you can say you only read about in books. They are insanely attentive towards each other, and no matter what is thrown at them, they figure it out. Blaire's understandable insecurities aside, she is able to put them at the back of her mind, and see what is in front of her. A man who would not stop at anything to be what they both deserve.
Another aspect of this book, that I really enjoyed, was the integration of Woods and Della's story. If you haven't read Twisted Perfection (Woods and Della's story), go pick it up, immediately. SO much more will make sense with Woods and Della. Simple Perfection, the sequel to Twisted Perfection will be out September 23, 2013.

There was a point in the book where I had just finished crying happy tears, and then turned the page and cried more happy tears.. FOUR. times. in. a. row. Amazing.
With all that said.. I want more. I want so much more Rush and Blaire I almost can't handle it. I wish there was a little more at the end of the book, or even a quick "Two Years Later..". This cannot be the end of Rush and Blaire! Dear Abbi Glines I AM BEGGING YOU FOR MORE! I'm holding out a bit of hope that maybe we will get a book 4 eventually, even if its a novella. HOWEVER, seeing where Twisted Perfection left off, compared to where Never Too Far left off, I do believe we will see a bit more of Rush and Blaire in Simple Perfection. I hope.. :)

My Thoughts:
Being Me delivered everything I hoped it would! It answered so many open ends from If I Were You, while leaving just enough unanswered to make the wait for Revealing Us completely killer.
Being Me picks up exactly where If I Were You left us hanging. Once that situation is under control, it opens the door to so many other questions. There is now a constant wonder if Sara herself has taken on more than she can handle. Between the growing infatuation with the journals, and the Sara/Rebecca life she has been living, is she in too deep?
We get to watch Sara and Chris' relationship unfold even more, while getting far more insight into why Sara is so weary about being controlled. With so much out in the open, we see a larger side of Sara, and a more protective and overbearing side of Chris. We also get a version of Chris I'm not sure he even knew he was capable of. When a new character is introduced, you will find your heart swelling for Chris. At the same time there is almost a completely different Mark. This Mark, I really and truly enjoyed, and almost trust. While Sara is seemingly stuck in the back and forth between Mark and Chris, it gives her a chance to show how strong she can truly be.
There were so many times where I was screaming "it HAD to be him/her!" or "Rebecca isn't dead, she's just hiding!" and let me tell you, I never saw what happens coming. I can truly say I love a series that will keep me guessing and wondering.
Thank you Lisa Renee Jones for, yet again, delivering an extremely enjoyable can't-put-this-down read! I very much look forward to Revealing Us!
