My Thoughts:
PLEASE NOTE: THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM PREVIOUS BOOKS IN THE SERIES
Harrison and Tiffany have a in-depth past with eachother. They had been together for years at the time that Tiffany made her real thoughts about Harrison known. After hearing how she actually feels, Harrison heads to Charlotte to be by his family and friends, and doesn't look back.
"Let's be real, you're a regular work by the hour kind of guy and has been jarhead. You're a good fuck Harrison, but you can't meet my dad."
Now settled in Charlotte, two years later, Harrison is where he wants to be. He has a job, his family, his friends, a life, and Sophia. However, Sophia has made it clear that she is not in it for a relationship. She just wants to be casual, and leave it at that. But Harrison wants more.
"With all the love and romance in the air, I was in high hopes that Sophia would want more. This started as pure sex, yes, but we have cultivated a real friendship."
However, all intentions go haywire when Tiffany shows up at Maggie, Harrisons sister's, wedding.
"It's been two years since I've heard that voice tell me I was a has been jarhead and a working class piece of shit; my blood runs cold."
But no one was expecting the news that Tiffany would bring. When push comes to shove, Harrison and Tiffany have a history between them, and with what's going on, Harrison will still stop at a seconds notice to be there for Tiffany. But Harrison's heart still lies with Sophia, who is still pushing him away.
Now with Tiffany right in front of him, he is realizing he's not sure what the line is between lust and love. He is also realizing that maybe Tiffany isn't as stuck up and spoiled as she comes off, on the inside. He now has a very heavy choice to make...
"An instinct deep inside me screams this is right; finally everything is right as it should be."
Okay, I'm going to be honest here. I HATED Tiffany in the first books. Like seriously.. I thought she was an evil little spoiled bitch. In Beyond Repair I fall in love with her. She's almost like this little lost puppy you just want to snuggle and let her know it'll be okay. Sophia, has her own set of demons that are not exposed until this book. It's unexpected, and explains a LOT. We got a lot from the other characters that we fell in love with throughout the course of this series as well, and everything seemed to fall together perfectly.
This was the perfect ending to an awesome series. Everything feels so resolved, and everything is (in my opinion) how I hoped it would be. I really enjoyed reading my way though The Daddy's Girls books. It makes me a little sad that this series is based in my state, and I don't have a way to actually KNOW these characters in real life haha!
Thank you Chelsea for everything! Your writing, being so open and awesome about questions, and your love of the blogging community <3<3
I can NOT wait for more from you!
